This course will give you a good foundation in sustainable home yoga practice. Understand essential poses and breath, what to focus on, and how to stay on track.
Home practice is different from a group class. It is more frequent, it becomes more intimate and familiar, and it develops in its effectiveness as your practice becomes more established. Each month you are sent two progressive yoga practices, one shorter, one slightly longer. Practice as close to daily as possible, track your progress on the supporting card, and practice the routines for the month. The familiarity of repeating your practice each day is part of the method. Each month reflect on your practice and send in your feedback for guidance and adaptations to progress you each month. There are of course the wonderful health benefits, physical and mental, that initially keep us coming back regularly. But more than that, a home yoga practice once established offers us our very own daily sanctuary, even when the world seems uncertain.
It's simpler than you think. This 6 month journey will get you started and help you avoid the mis-steps that are easy to fall into. |

Each month you have the opportunity to provide feedback so I can help you keep your practice developing. You simply fill in the feedback form, either online or via post or email, answering a few short questions and let me know how you are getting on and asking questions that you have.
The next month you'll receive progressions for your practice, and personal guidance notes to support you, help you get the most from it or adapt it to suit you better. |

additional options
For those who would like additional guidance and support beyond the feedback form, there is the option to book face-to-face reviews, either via Zoom or In-Person at the Bristol YogaSpace studio. These are an opportunity to discuss in more depth how your practice is developing and review how you are getting on more fully. This is in addition to the standard 6 month course.
